Belgian airline “Brussels Airlines” announced Tuesday (14//04/15) that it will offer two weekly flights from Brussels-Zaventem Airport to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, the two favorite winter destinations for Belgians, from October 25, 2015, and tickets are now available.
Each year, about 640,000 Belgians visit the Canary Islands and several thousand own a second home to spend the winter in the archipelago, according to company data. “The Canary Islands” are very popular among Belgian tourists and a great addition to our growing supply of sun and beach,” said the sales manager of Brussels Airlines, Lars Redeligx, in a statement.
With Tenerife and Gran Canaria, Brussels Airlines have already eight destinations in Spain. The Belgian company already flies to Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Seville, Bilbao and Alicante.
